hp driver question by Pee Diddle: Where can I get the Quickplay driver for a HP Pavillioin Laptop?
I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 (dv2568se) that came installed with Vista Home Premium and all the Quickplay drivers. I recently formatted my computer and installed Vista Business. I now have to look for all the drivers including those for the webcam and Quickplay. I went on the HP driver download for my laptop but wasn’t sure what to download. Can anyone tell me what exactly to download?

did you try contacting HP yet
or if that doesn’t work search the internet for the home website most home websites now let you download the drivers for free
if all else fails you could scouer ebay for the actul programs or devices and ask the seller if they have the drivers to them
or go to a PC repair shop and see what they can do

I bought this set while back, and didn’t use it for a while. It seemed like a nice set. The first time I tried it to back out a screw, the shaft just slipped inside the cheap plastic handle. I tightened the collet as much as I could and it still slipped.
The bits fit into a hexagonal hole in the shaft – that part’s OK – metal to metal, but the shaft itself is held in the plastic handle by a plastic collet, which isn’t strong enough to stand much torque. This is a SCREWDRIVER, it’s supposed to stand some torque! The screw in question wasn’t that tight, either – it easily backed out with a regular screwdriver.
The bits are probably OK, but the handle is soft plastic junk. Maybe I can super glue the shaft in, but the plastic is soft like tupperware.

Like the other reviewer said, the first time I used this, the hex shaft just slipped around inside the cheap, soft plastic handle. I performed exactly 0% for me before it was broken. This peice of junk is going back.
