IT’S HERE – A New and Improved version of everyone’s favorite load testing tool – LoadRunner Version 9.5. LoadRunner is a comprehensive technology solution that enables you to obtain an accurate picture of end-to-end system performance before going live, verify that new or upgraded applications meet specified performance requirements and identify and reduce performance bottlenecks during the development lifecycle.

What makes this next generation of LoadRunner so revolutionary? Plenty, including new features such as:

VuGen:
· Protocol Advisor – Which helps you to determine an appropriate protocol for recording a Vuser script

· Exporting Test Results from VUGen scripts to HTML – Can now open Quality Center defects directly from the report

· Service Test – is now fully integrated with LoadRunner 9.5 (simply purchase a license for service test) and automates the testing process for services (SOA)

Controller:
· Set up secure communication channels using Host Security Setup & Host Security Manager – Allows the creation of secure communication channels between the LoadRunner Controller and Load Generators to help prevent hacking and loss of confidential data

· Post Collate Command – Now you can define a Post Collate Command inside the Controller that it will run directly after it collates the results of a scenario run

· WAN Emulation – Enables each load generator to emulate a different network location and eliminates the need to deploy load generators remotely. Now you can accurately test point-to-point performance of WAN-deployed products under real-world network conditions

Analysis:
· Analysis API – create a custom analysis session from the test results, analyze the raw data, and extract key session measurements for external use

· Cross Results Report Summary – New summary report for Cross Results analysis

· Copy/Filter Legend Data – Provides the ability to copy and export graph legend data

LoadRunner 9.5 now offers support for:
1) Windows Vista (SP1) for both the Controller & Generators
2) Microsoft’s .NET framework up to version 3.5
3) SQL Server 2005
4) Agent for the RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol)
